Making A Purchase
Orders can be placed in the following ways:
Online – Ordering through our website couldn’t be simpler or safer. Once you have selected the items you wish to order, simply check-out and complete your payment through our secure online payment service provider, Sage Pay or via Paypal.
By Phone – Please call our Customer Service number on +44 (0)845 004 8606 or tollfree from the USA and Canada between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm GMT for phone orders. We are open Monday – Friday. During busy periods, in the evenings or weekends you may be asked to leave your name and number and one of our trained advisors will call you right back.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Discount Vouchers
Picchu Maternity issues two types of discount voucher:
1.) Fixed value discounts that allow for a preset value to be discounted from the total cost of the purchase. Fixed value discount vouchers may be redeemed against a single order with a value equal to or greater than the value of the discount voucher.
2.) Percentage discounts that allow for a discount on some or all of the items in an order worth a specified percentage of the value of each item. Percentage discounts may be restricted to certain specified items but may not be against purchases of gift vouchers or shipping and handling costs under any circumstances.
Discount vouchers can be used when purchasing Picchu merchandise online, via fax, by telephone or mail order. To use a discount voucher online simply add the items that you want by clicking the "add to Cart" button on the product page. This will take you to a page that shows the contents of you shopping basket, enter your discount voucher number into the box labelled "Gift or Discount Voucher" on this page. Otherwise you will be given an opportunity to enter your discount voucher number during the checkout process.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, discount vouchers may not be used in combination with any other discount offers from Picchu Maternity. Discount vouchers may be used in combination with Picchu Maternity gift vouchers, please contact us if you would like to use both a gift voucher and a discount voucher for a single purchase.
When using a discount voucher online the value of you order will automatically be calculated by taking the total value of the order less the value of the discount. Any outstanding balance from a purchase made using a gift voucher may be made by any of the payment methods described in our Placing an Order page. Discount vouchers may not be exchanged for cash, nor any other form of reimbursement.
The use of discount vouchers may be subject to certain restrictions including: the number of times each voucher may be used; the time period over which the voucher may be used; discount vouchers may be restricted to a named person or named persons; any combination of the aforementioned restrictions. Unless otherwise stated, Picchu Maternity reserves the right to terminate any discount voucher, irrespective of the conditions of issue, without prior notice. A successful processing of an discount voucher in our online store represent a provisional acceptance of the discount voucher and is still subject to further validation. We reserve the right to reject the discount voucher if it is deemed that the use of the voucher breaches the conditions of use described here.
Delivery Schedule Delivery Times and Charges:
All orders are processed the same day they are received (Monday - Friday), and will be despatched within 24 hours. All deliveries will need a signature.
Delivery charges and timescales are as follows:
UK
Standard Delivery - Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded (please allow up 3-5 working days) - FREE on orders over £50.00
1st Class Delivery - Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (please allow 1-2 working days) - £4.95
Express Delivery - Next business day delivery can be accommodated if ordered before 2.00pm - £8.95
Saturday Guaranteed Delivery - delivery address must be a residential address, items will require a signature and next day delivery can be accommodated if ordered before 2.00pm on a Friday - £9.95
European Countries that are members of the European Union

Local taxes may be payable outside of the UK and the European Union.
Back Orders
Unfortunately we cannot ensure permanent availability of all items, although we try our hardest. If something is out of stock, we'll always give you the best information we can on anticipated delivery dates and we will contact you asking you whether you would still like us to send the order to you. We will only charge you postage once per order, no matter how many parcels we send you.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
Picchu Maternity uses the Sage Pay payment system and the information you transmit online is strongly encrypted. Your credit/debit card deetails are sent directly from your computer to the Sagepay servers, only your customer information (your name, address, email address etc) is sent to Picchu Maternity so that we may fullfill your order. The Sage Pay web servers are certified by Thawte, a Public Certificate Authority. Your information is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by your browser using 128 bit secure socket layer (SSL) - this means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection.. Your details will not be disclosed to any third parties. Sage Pay do not hold any information about your order after the payment process is complete.
Privacy Policy
At Picchu Maternity we value your privacy as much as you do. We will never pass on your details to a third party for marketing purposes. If you have requested it, we will occasionally write to you with an offer or information about a new product. If you do not wish to receive any further email messages from us, please email sales@picchumaternity.com.
When you shop with Picchu Maternity, there are different ways we gather information about you:
* We keep a record of your purchases with us, this means we can send you the most relevant offers. It also means we can deal a lot quicker with any problems you may experience with your order.
* We keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us. This helps us keep track any problems or concerns you've had with our products or services.
* In order to maintain the highest standards of customer service and to help with the training of new staff.
All the information we collect via our website or through correspondence with you is used to operate and improve the service we offer you. We are committed to using your personal information only for:
• Dealing with orders for the supply of our goods and services.
• Planning and managing Picchu business activities, including analysing customers' shopping habits and preferences.
• Research.
• Providing you with information about the products and services we offer. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy:
You may return all or part of your order for exchange or a full refund (excluding any original postage costs) within 30 days of receipt so long as tags are attached and the garment has not been worn, damaged or if tags have been removed.
Sale items which must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
Please follow the procedures detailed below in order to exchange or return items.
How to Exchange Items:
1. Please call us on 0845 004 8606 or send an email to returns@picchumaternity.com
and let us know your original invoice number and which items from that order you would like to exchange.
2. We will send out your exchange items the same day. If there is any difference in cost, we will call you and let you know so that payment or a refund can be arranged. There is no postage charge for your first exchange.
3. Once the exchange items are received, please fill out the form on the back of your original invoice noting that you are returning exchanged items.
4. We recommend you return goods via Recorded Mail and ensure you retain the completed Certificate of Posting stamped by your local post office. For international returns, please request the local equivalent as we cannot be
held responsible for returned goods lost in transit.
5. You will receive your refund credit (if due) back to the original payment method within a week of returning items.
6. Please note that refunds on items bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing.
7. We cannot refund or exchange goods which have been used or customer damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To Return Goods For a Refund:
1. Please complete the returns form at the back of your invoice and send goods to: Picchu Maternity Returns, Longdene House, Haslemere, GU27 2PH.
2. We recommend that you send goods via Recorded Delivery as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in the post.
3. You will receive your refund credit back to the original payment method within a week of returning items.
4. Please note that refunds on items bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing.
5. If any items bought as part of a set or discount are returned, the discount no longer applies and the full price of the kept items will be applied.
6. We cannot refund or exchange goods which have been used or customer damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty/Damaged Goods:
We always inspect our garments thoroughly prior to despatch to ensure tags/security seals are securely attached and that the item is of the highest quality and in perfect condition.
Please ensure that you carefully check your items to ensure you are satisfied with the quality and construction prior to removal of labels and security tags. In the event that the item is faulty or damaged, please notify us on receipt and we will refund, replace or repair it immediately upon return to our offices for inspection. Once tags have been removed, the item will be deemed to have been worn and will not be eligible for refund but replacement or repair if faulty. In the event that items are faulty, we can only replace them or repair them if we are advised of the fault within 7 days of receipt.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
